Thanks for the recognition, Claude 🤖
From Claude's insight report after my first week
Key pattern: You are a tenacious, hands-on debugger who actively corrects and redirects Claude through repeated configuration struggles, prioritizing getting tooling right over application development.
"User spent an entire week in an epic, Sisyphean battle to get the Atlassian MCP server working — configuring, breaking, reconfiguring, expiring tokens, wrong Node versions — across at least 10 separate sessions, never quite reaching peace"Across the Feb 5-12 period, the user's single biggest struggle was the Atlassian MCP integration. Sessions show a recurring nightmare: OAuth tokens expiring mid-task, Claude accidentally breaking configs by switching transports, Node 16 vs Node 20 conflicts, configs duplicated across 3 places, and the user having to correct Claude multiple times about what the original config even was. In one session, the user just connected to the MCP and immediately quit. The few moments it actually worked felt like brief ceasefire in an ongoing war.
Sounds way worse than it was, really. I did have quite a bit of struggle getting some of the MCP stuff set up, and then I accidentally deleted my .mcp.json file and hade to start all over...
but yeah, time spent now at the beginning of this exploration reducing as much friction as i can will be time well spent.
This insights report has some good stuff too, but i think i'll give it another week before I dig in too much.
